The ServiceNow platform is very “hot” in the market right now which translates into a strong job market for professionals with relevant experience. Over the last couple of months I have placed 6 professionals into permanent positions at various levels of experience at global consulting firm clients. Every one of these consultants specialized in IT Service Management and specifically with the ServiceNow platform. Our clients are clamoring to hire people with both process design and technical implementation experience with the platform. These global consulting firms are seeking people that have at least one to three years’ of ServiceNow experience combined with strong knowledge of if ITIL and (preferably depending on experience) ServiceNow or ITIL certifications. These larger consulting firm clients typically require their consultants to travel to client sites on a weekly basis so an 80% travel commitment is required but not always necessary.
There are also many, many smaller ServiceNow implementation partner companies that are also seeking to hire people with experience as well as corporations both large and small. One of the nice things about the platform is that it is cloud based so many of the implementation partners will hire consultants to work on a remote basis.
So what’s the bottom line? If you have experience with ServiceNow, I would definitely be interested in speaking with you.
