The first breakfast, held at Urban Table in Morristown on May 14, 2013 was a terrific success. The theme of the meeting was “How technology is dramatically changing our daily lives.”
DaVinciTek CEO, Anthony Curlo, used the meeting to announce the company’s food drive campaign. “Our company has a strong tradition of giving back. We’ve supported number of charities and causes with national and international missions. We decided to launch this food drive campaign to support the organizations in our community that help the hungry. In keeping with the theme of today’s breakfast meeting, we are using new technology to conduct our campaign. We have partnered with YouGiveGoods to utilize their website so that we can conduct our food drive campaign online.”
The breakfast meeting series continues with future meetings in July and October. In connection with each of these meetings, the company will run an online food drive to support local food assistance organizations serving the Morristown community.
“The drive we are announcing today will support the Market Street Mission, right down the street from our breakfast at Urban Table,” said Mr. Curlo. Our future drives will support the Community Soup Kitchen and the Salvation Army in Morristown.
